Free Chicago Walking Tours has been leading guests through Chicago since 2015. We're the only locally owned and operated free tour company in the city — no big corporate operation, just passionate local guides who love sharing their hometown.
Our tours are free to join. At the end, you tip your guide based on your experience. No pressure, no minimum. Most guests tip between $15 and $25 for a 2-hour tour — but you decide what it was worth.
Our public tours are best for groups of 6 or fewer. For larger groups we recommend a Private Tour — fully customizable, starting at $250 for up to 25 guests.
All tours are conducted in English.
